The New Broadsword Recon Bronze is an evolution of the original Broadsword Recon limited edition that was issued and sold out in 2023. This new iteration features a stunning bronze case construction, which will develop its own unique patina over time. Limited to 100 pieces, this exclusive timepiece is built on the foundations of our longstanding partnership with the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defence and is our contemporary take on the three-handed ‘Dirty Dozen’ field watch designs.
Limited to just 100 pieces, it features a sandwich dial construction with vintage Super-LumiNova®, designed for maximum visibility. The two-piece case is made of CuSn8 bronze, a ‘living’ metal, meaning that each model will develop its own unique patina over time – no two watches will ever look the same.
Designed as a contemporary take on the three handed ‘Dirty Dozen’ watch design, a series of timepieces commissioned for the British Army during World War Two when Britain’s Ministry of Defence needed watches to issue to military personnel. Very strict performance specifications, for the time, were set which included waterproofing, regulation to chronometer specification, luminous markings on the dial and a robust case construction.
